Received a call on October 29th at 8pm from one of my realtor partners. His client had purchased a home that was set to close on November 1st but there was an issue with the financing he thought was in place (this deal was firmed up back in July).
After starting to peel back the layers of the onion, there was simply no way this deal was going to close the way it was originally structured, but by looking at all of the information that was available a different path forward was possible. It involved a lot of scrambling, several late evening meetings and calls, but today this amazing family will receive the keys to their first home (and with a lower down payment than they were told was possible).
