This is the lowest margin vs prime I have personally witnessed in 25 years in the mortgage industry. With the US Federal reserve making an emergency cut in the US Prime rate by 0.5% this morning, the Bank of Canada is likely to follow with at least a cut of 0.25% of their own tomorrow (March 4th)
